Sheesh! Given this whole privacy discussion, I guess my wife and I have been camping all wrong! We don't normally leave the door open for "peepers" or invite folks to come in and visit while we're snuggled in bed. Have we been missing something all these years?

I just had this disturbing image of a troop of Boy Scouts walking past the open door on a 21' with two old naked people embracing on the bed.

Attempts at humor aside, my wife and I are basically "cave dwellers" when sleeping and really prefer the relatively secluded arrangement of the bed in the 21' - surrounded by 2 1/2 walls with only one window to contend with as a possible source of unwanted ambient light while sleeping. Also, we're not concerned at all with the size of the bed in the 21'. We've slept together in a standard full bed at home for over 34 years, so we're perfectly fine with the "Full XL" sized bed (as others have described it). Another plus in our way of thinking is that it's only one short step from bedside to bathroom in the middle of the night. If, for some unforeseen reason, we should want to conceal the bed from viewing, it will only take a couple command hooks and a privacy shear. But I doubt we'll do the latter because we actually like the appearance of the bed and sleeping area. It's part and parcel of the overall ambiance of the 21' that we personally find attractive. But, to each their own. Ultimately, that's the beauty of the wide variety of camper models offered by ETI, that plus the wealth of personal customization they seem to enjoy incorporating into each of their unique creations.

Dan...you guys feel free to come back over and move around in the trailer while you are still trying to decide. Maybe come back over in the evening since that's when you'll mostly be inside.

Thx! we are strongly leaning towards the 19, after tent camping it will feel huge and we spend most of our time outside. I will talk to Lesley and perhaps after all your upcoming excitement...
