Sounds you have a installed a setup that is a lot better than the stock rear springs in our 2008 Tacoma were. Now that we have sold it, I finally got the notice that the parts were ready for the spring recall. The rear suspension on our new Highlander seems far stronger that what the 2008 Tacoma had.

I plan to tow with around 550 lbs of tongue weight so these SumoSprings seem to really do the job. Easy to install ( about 30 minutes) and no hassles with airing up bags. Smooth ride either with or without the load. That's my 2 cents."
My experience also.
I installed Sumosprings on my 02 Tundra last October. My springs fit between the axel and the frame with no gap, so any load they will engage, and do not effect the unloaded ride. When I hook up my 21' the drop is less than an inch. While looking for a suspension solution I was going down the airbag route, when I discovered the Sumo/Timbren springs, Simpler installation and operation ,better reliability, less money, and I think better performance. Yes, I really like them.

Well, I better reread this thread - just ordered a 2016 Off Road Double cab short bed. It is white, so I'm going to have to order some Spectra Red graphics from Escape to match the trailer. The RAV4 is being retired at 134,000 miles...

Congrats on that, Jon. A great vehicle.

Agreed. I'm quite happy with my 2013 Tacoma. It pulls my trailer very well.

Jon, Nice. That will be a good fit for you. I'd recommend the back flip cover for the bed. I have a good source for those if you want to look at one.
Congrats, when will you have the truck?

Good choice Jon for your 17. The RAV4 has certainly done it's duty.

I think you'll be very happy with your new truck, and congrats. I've owned 4 Toyotas and some day that number will grow.

It is here and it is VERY white! An ARE MX series cap is on order. If I decide to continue to use the WDH, I'm going to have to do some major modifications - the truck is about 6" higher than the RAV4 (and 6" short enough to not hit the next $ tier on the Nantucket Ferry).
