Question 2017-18-19 Audi Q7 & 21' Escape: air suspension feel?

Hi all

Anyone know of anyone here who is towing a 21' Escape with a recent Audi Q7? with the V6 bigger engine.

My question is - for the Q7 (or something similar) how does it "feel" towing, suspension wise?

We like how the e2 WDH on our Acura MDX smooths out any porpoising big time, and how it "feels"

Audi specifically says do NOT use a WDH with the Q7 - i seem to recall due to how it is built, but as it has a 7,700 lb .... 770 hitch weight rating when you get the bigger engine.

I estimate our loaded load to be 4,400 lbs at most. and I know our tongue weight is usually 440 lbs.

We'd get the optional air suspension, as with it the Q7 knows you are towing and it raises up the rear. It also supposedly takes the Q7 as a daily driver from a nice suspension to an amazing suspension, so we'd benefit around Los Angeles as a daily driver car.

I'm guessing that the air suspension would smooth out any porpoising? Hoping yes.

Oh we are not buying right away, thus the title of the thread. 2017-18-19

Thanks for any info.
