Do you guys know what your axle ratio is? Mines a 3.55. I've been getting 22.5 mostly out of town.

I think the 3.31 is standard...

I ordered the max tow package and it came with a 3.73. Mileage towing is about 14 mpg. Loren

🤔 My 2016, 2.7 Ecoboost 4x4 with 3:55 rear gets 14.5 to 16.5 towing my 5.0 TA. No tow I can get 20 to 22, depends on on speed and terrain.

Marv, mine is a 2018 2WD shortbed SuperCrew, 2.7L EcoBoost, tow package, standard axle. I get basically the same mileage I did on my 2015. Average 25.5 not towing, 15.5 towing a 19.

Something that came to mind overnight; Does the placard that Ford has everyone place on the trailer frame to enable the back up assist have to remain on the frame anytime that system is used? Or is it just for the initial set up? I thought once set up and saved in the truck computer we're done. The posts from LDRay suggests he is intending to leave his placard in place permanently.

Given how crowded the tongue on these trailers are, I was intending to quick fab a piece that I would hand clamp in place for the initial set up then remove. Does hanging it off the side of the frame potentially interfere with turning radius? I have a nagging fear of getting caught in tight spaces.

The placard is required for the system to operate. It’s what the truck uses to find and then track the attitude of the trailer during use.
