Hi: Irike... Is it a crew cab, super cab, or regular cab? Alf

I've got a 2012 SC w/8' bed, works great with tons of room to spare. Parking and turning is another story.
I put on a Trifecta bed cover, works well covering most of the stuff in the bed when folded up.

Bid again
Donna,
Do you have the 8 foot bed and if so do you find it difficult to park?

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought '5.0TA fit in an F150?' That must be one big truck bed...

6.5 bed and I had a bit of a learning curve backing up and parking compared to towing my Scamp for a dozen years. But I'm getting better every time.

Your truck is overqualified for a 5.0 . 5.0TA's are scarcer than burgoo in Seattle tho. Keep your eyes peeled and act quickly!

The 8-foot bed means you can mount a hitch in the standard location and have plenty of clearance to the cab, so it will fit in the cab-to-trailer clearance aspect.
An F-150 with the V8 will presumably have a high enough Gross Combined Weight Rating to handle the trailer and whatever you put in the truck, so it fits for total weight.
An F-150 ordered for a slide-in camper should have a high payload rating (presumably with the maximum payload package), so the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, rear axle weight rating, and payload should suit the pin weight of the 5.0TA plus the passenger and cargo load in the truck.
As long as the truck is at stock height - even as a 4X4 - the box sides should be low enough to clear the trailer, although the trailer might need the optional lift kit.
So there are details to confirm but the fit is looking good.
