My Reese WDH and Anti-sway combo with shank and ball weighed almost 100 lbs . The Andersen weighs about 60 lbs including the heavy adjustable shank. Minus the shank it is less than half the weight of the Reese duo's ~73 lbs.

The ProSeries web page has its WDH weighing in at 75 pounds. That surprised me, I guess because it's always lifted in several pieces not all together.
The Andersen hitch web page has its WDH weighing in at 60 pounds.

Thanks, Paul. I looked up my weights on the Andersen website, but didn't understand that their number included the WD shank. This evening I did what I should have at the first, put the parts on a scale and my numbers were very close to yours. So the weight advantage over my previous system is even greater. I realize that there are other hitches that work differently from what I had that might be lighter.

I'm glad for this forum. It should be helpful when I eventually go to replace my hitch's lining. I guess it is like a brake shoe and does require maintenance.

Bob
