anyone towing a 17B with a Husky Hitch ?

I am ordering a new 17B. My tow vehicle is Chev 1500 pickup with trailer towing package, 4x4, extended cab, 6.5' box with cap. I have a Curtis brake controller.

I'm looking at a hitch and interested in the Husky hitches,

https://www.huskytow.com/wp-includes...-A_HITCH_2.pdf

I would buy the lightest model, 400 to 600 lb tongue weight.
I'm wondering if anyone on the forums is using this hitch ?

Also I don't know the height of the 17B hitch with the trailer level I guess I need this number to calculate the difference to the trucks hitch height.

any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Not me.

But, if you do a Google Site Search, several threads turn up.

I bought the Husky Center LIne TS two years ago for my 21'. By far it's the best hitch I have owned. No problems with the brackets like some have had with the E2, sway control is excellent, and easy to hitch up.

I bought mine from Amazon - good price and free shipping.

thanks for the feedback !

The two hitch clamps the go on the trailer A-frame are positioned about 28" back from the ball. Looking at the photographs of the 17 I assume that would fall between the propane tank cover and front storage box. Can anyone confirm that ?

Also as I'm towing with a full sized 4x4 pickup I'm wondering about the difference between the trailer hitch height and truck ball height ? I know there is some adjustment on the hitch but its limited. Would this require the high lift axle on the trailer ?

I need to buy this hitch before I leave to pick the trailer up as it will be a 3500 mile return trip and I'd like to have the sway control and WDH
