Hi: All... More pic's of the mirrors. They are direct custom mirrors for specific models and brands. Ordering was simply imputting your make/model etc. They came with both chrome and black caps so will fit SE & LE models. What I ordered are heated and powered and plugged into the truck plug in the door. Finding that plug was an adventure and the second door went much faster than the first. There are no directions to look at even as a last resort!!! Alf

Hi: Again... What I ordered from 1-A Auto was #1AMRP 01310 $239. pr. Free shipping no tax, and ordered on Fri. delivered UPS to our site at Oyster Bay on Tue. WOW...what a deal. There's an 800# 888-844-3393 which we used as the wifi here is spotty at best. I'll try a link here 1A Auto : Aftermarket Auto Parts, Car Body Parts, Replacement & New Automobile and Truck Parts | Buy Discount Car & Auto Parts Online then look up trailer tow mirrors etc.

Here we go again... The final Frontier!!! Here's a pic of me plugging in the new mirror. BTW some of the comments from my helpers..."I don't like the sound of that"!!! Pulling apart the door panel, taking off the armrest, to find the bolts is nerve wracking!!! All nuts and hex head screws are 10mm as these trucks are built in USA, South America, Africa, Australia, and Europe to name a few places. Alf

Those look great, Alf. I think this is the ultimate type mirror for towing for vehicles not equipped with them from the start. I know having used them on larger pickups for many years now, but are the cat's meow. So quick and easy to use, and nothing to store.

Alf, do these mirrors auto-fold back against the window when the ignition is turned off?

Hi: Donna D... They are manual fold back. The memory ones were more $$'s, and the OEM's on the truck were manual too. Alf

Alf, we're there really NO directions at all? While they seem to be a simple, "plug and play" design, I'm always reluctant to perform open-door panel surgery on my '11 Frontier. Wish I knew about these before I bought the Milenco's last year

Going to the Escape Rally? Why not offer the Milenco mirrors for sale prior to the rally? Deliver them in Osoyoos.

Even vehicles which are designed in the U.S. and built only in the U.S., by the traditional "American" manufacturers (but all of them are really worldwide now) use metric fasteners. The last holdout inch-sized fasteners are in whatever mechanical components might still be in use, having started their design at least 30 years ago.
A 10 mm head would usually go with an M6 thread... lots of those in most vehicles, holding many brackets in place.
Towing equipment (hitches) from American manufacturers, on the other hand, all seem to come with inch-sized bolts except where they must thread into nuts which are part of the metric vehicle. Annoying, with every other fastener on the vehicle being consistently metric...

Sounds like no programming was required for this application . A word of caution for many manufacturers programming is required if changing mirrors . My 2003 Yukon I put the 3/4 ton extendable mirrors off a 2007 and had to do some interesting programming to get them to work properly. Most car company's are using modules in the door controlled by the BCM . So programming the BCM and door module together may be required

Hi: All... I haven't tested the heating function of the mirrors... No frost down here!!! Suppose I could just turn it on and see if the glass warms up though.
Yes there were no instructions/directions... but then I love a mystery. The two hex screws behind the armrest were easy... The one behind the door handle shrouds was a trickier find. Once inside the door panel the plug was snap fastened to the door. Came apart easy and fishing the wire harness from the mirror was also easy. Not a one person job though.
A beer break was necessary due to the heat of the day. Hence the pic. of one done one not!!! Alf

Many thanks to Alf for his 'research' and later consultations on this project. Just finished installing the same mirrors on my Frontier. Found this website that provided a simple demo on removing the door panels:
Now, if anyone wants a pair of Milenco Grand Aero mirrors for $75 (used only three times) send me a PM.

Alf, Zardoz...
I'm seriously considering adding a pair of these to my Frontier. I've got a concern about them, though, that you can help with. I park my truck in the garage in the winter time. With the stock mirrors, I've got about 10" to spare in the width of the truck vs. the width of my garage door. If these mirrors, when fully retracted (but not folded) add more than a couple of inches to the total width of the truck, I'm going to have some "issues" parking the truck in the garage.
Would one of you please measure how far the mirror extends from the truck when it's in the normal driving position?
Thanks, and much appreciated.

Measuring from the bottom of window to the edge of the mirror, the distance is 13.5".
