That is the one I use on my Ram hitch, works great. But some stingers will not allow this use, for the Andersen w/d setup on the FJ I use one of these Roadmaster universals http://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Hitc...ti~Rattle.aspx

When we switched from a truck (Silverado) to the Highlander we had to drop the hitch...then everything worked as it should...

That looks like a sound design for hollow ball mount shanks, although it does seem inconvenient to remove the ball mount, as it requires a wrench to remove or replace the bolt and the nut/spacer assembly needs to be properly positioned within the mount each time.

The J-Pin works with hollow or solid mounts.

We use dryer sheets on the ball they have wax in them. I do lube the hitch parts.

We have use one of these for a couple years and like it. Takes any play out of the hitch.

Hitch tightener: no wobble, anti rattle stabilizer device for hitch accessories
