Our Escape is a 2010. We are pulling it with a 2012 Highlander and use the standard pro series WDH. 30,000 miles, no changes from the day AZJack set her up. No sway bar and no sway. 425 lbs on the tongue. 3680 trailer
Weight loaded and ready for a three week trip when I weighed it last spring. Hope this helps. Hanging four links, tower on top and tipped forward. On the flat I can over center the locks barehanded ( no cheater) when I'm feeling good.

Thanks Iowa Dave and others! Given the similarities in our rigs (as Iowa Dave's), your setup sounds like the one for me and your testimonial and that of others as to how well it works has set my mind at ease about this question!

No and we've never had any sway even in strong cross wind conditions.

i have the pro series and our son has the regular E2 equalizer hitch, and mine is so much easier to hookup. Love it for our 21. Had the Anderson with our Casita and the pro series is so much easier to use.
