Exclamation Escape 5.0 (2012) Hitch Height

I'm looking to upgrade to a 2012 5.0 5th Wheel. Is a stock 2012 (single axel) high enough (have sufficient clearance) to tow with a new 1/2 ton full sized truck? Other fiberglass 5th Wheels need to be lifted to do this.

We are selling our 2010 5.0 and I have been asked that several times. With our trailer sitting level the hitch plate is 45" above the ground. The bottom of the trailer overhang (part of the frame is the lowest part) is 57" above the ground. When we bought the trailer we had a 1.5" lift included and towed with an F350. The above dimensions are with the lift removed. Bare in mind that on a taller vehicle you will probably be raising the hitch pin height so you will have a comparable increase in the trailer height. The ground to bed side height on my current vehicle is 52". Anything that is 54" or less would probably work without the lift.
Hope this helps.
