My 2017 2.7 F150 pulled my 5.0 with no issues and i could not count how many mountain ranges we crossed on our little trip through Canada. I use the standard mirrors on my truck (not telescoping ) I can see all the way back to the end of the trailer. I have extra tow mirrors but really don't need them i have excellent visibility.

I believe the legal requirement for rear viewing goes well beyond simply being able to see the rear of your trailer. It's how close behind your trailer you can see other vehicles. The wider set to the mirrors, the closer you can see someone behind you. Seems like I recall one has to be able to see a minimum of 200 ft (61 m) behind your trailer - such that if someone else is 200 feet behind you, and you can't see them, then you need wider mirrors so that you can see them (anyone recall if that is right?). Here's an example of just how complicated it all can be when government writes rules to help us be safe:

The following is from B.C. Motor Vehicle Act:

Where a trailer or semitrailer in a combination of vehicles diminishes the driver's reflected rear view through the rear view mirrors required by subsections (1) to (3), the towing vehicle in the combination of vehicles shall be equipped with 2 mirrors, one affixed to each side of the motor vehicle, and each to provide the driver with an undistorted reflected view of the adjacent lane of the highway from a point on the road surface 11 m ( 36' ) behind the driver to a point on the road surface 61 m ( 200' ) from the rear of the combination of vehicles.

Note that it says adjacent lanes, not the lane you are in ( directly behind the trailer ).
You'll find similar requirements throughout the US and Canada.

Me too- have the Milenco Aero used to tow the 17 with Highlander. Don't need them towing the 21 qith stock mirrors. Score another for Full-Size!
