I tow the Escape 21 (2014) with a 6 cyl 2017 Tacoma, I get about 11 to 13. If I am towing in the mountains it stays about the same but the speed drops. Going across that ridge outside of Chattanooga TN or up in Asheville it is slow going up and slow going down.

I have a 2013 F150 EB 3.5 4X4 and tow a 20' Coachman Apex (I know it's not an Escape, but was looking at the Escape 21 when I bought the Apex). Anyway with out the trailer I get 9-11 Ltr/100km (21-26 US mpg) and towing the trailer (4,000 lbs loaded) @ 100 kph (60 mph) I get 21-23 ltr/100km (10.2 - 11.2 US mpg). I thought I would get a little better mileage with the EB, but I didn't get the F150 for the mileage, I got it to tow the trailer. I was pulling the trailer with my 2010 Flex 3.5 EB, but the axel and all up towing weights were very close to the max the Flex is authorised to pull, so I bought the F150 with the heavy duty tow package. As a note the Flex got about the same mileage as the F150 while towing the trailer, without the trailer I get 8-9 ltr/100km (26-29 us mpg) @ 100 kph (60 mph).

i am just arrived from Vancouver , i crossed canada to pick up my 5.0, to go out of trailer 12,1ltr/100, 5600 km, and with my 5.0 to come back , 16.4ltr/100 6500km. speed limit plus 5%. never more. Vancouver to Ontario i was at 15ltr /100 but Road of Ontario and North of Quebec ( montain) increase my millage .
90% of trip on cruise control.
i have ford f 150 , EB 2016 , box 6.5 feet , tire Michelin LT ( those one make a big difference). have a nice day.

I have owned and toed with an F150 eco boost. I loved the truck. That being said, it is not an eco boost engine. It is eco OR boost. It will go “zoom zoom”, but it will suck gas when it does. Also I have found that the gas mileage when towing at 55 vs 65 can be significant.
With any camper the problem is drag. In addition, wind and grade are big contributors. Your mileage doesn’t seem bad for towing. You might want to expire this with different speeds on a no wind and level road.

I don’t have the EB, but from friends that have them, they really do well MPG wise as a daily driver. Much better than my 5.4 V8 (of course). Once towing their mileage is similar to mine. In fact often my V8 does better.
