I recall your interest, but there was no yellow sticker. I did search the components using the VIN but they were very general and not necessarily specific to my particular truck. Payload was referred to as, "X,Y, or Z." The traditional window sticker says: "7050# GVWR Package."

I have the 3.5 EC and am quite pleased. The only nit I had to pick was that the salesman spent 15 minutes describing how great the trailer backup assist was after I mentioned I would be towing a 5th wheel trailer (and showed him a picture). Of course I learned it does not work with my trailer as soon as I got out the manual. When I called to enlighten him, he told me I needed to get a boat and boat trailer. I had to downgrade him on the evaluation Ford sent me.

* Lariat SC 4x4 w/6.5 bed
* 3.5EB 10-speed auto
* 3.55 locking rear end
* Tow package (no payload package available per dealer)
* Power folding/retracting mirrors
* Tailgate & side steps ()
* Voice-activated navigation
* Fold-a-Cover tonneau

Off to Chilliwack this weekend to finalize and drop off our build sheet and pick out some flooring from Pioneer Building Supply (and staying at Harrison Hot Springs to celebrate our 30th anniversary).

Likely declaring bankruptcy soon as I get home ...
Congratulations Rich! We will need to have lunch soon so you can show off your truck! What color did you get?

Nice! Looking forward to seeing it.

No Camping yet. Took a long road trip to Colorado to see mom and the rest of my family. We had places to stay and I did not want to pull a trailer over the Rockies in Dec. Then Christmas in Eugene with friends. January has been just too damn cold. Hopefully will get to the coast in Feb for a shake-down trip.

Yellow Sticker 2.7L w/ Payload Pkg

Zardoz...congratulations on your new truck...it's surprising you don't have a yellow sticker. I'm shopping for an F150 for our 5.0TA due in May and was looking at the 2.7L but got concerned about payload. I'm attaching a photo of the yellow sticker on a 2017 2.7L 4x4 crew cab, short bed, XL model with the optional payload package...shows it increasing payload about 300 lbs over ones I saw without the package (1900 vs 1600). The 3.5L EB I've seen have around 2000 lb payload depending on the build. Improvements in the 3.5L EB engine and 10 spd transmission are swaying me toward that choice. I'm anxious to hear reports of how it tows.

Whoa! My bad; and I apologize. I was thinking this sticker was on the window and it had been removed. I'll look inside the doorframe first thing in the morning and report what I find,

Ford has the window sticker of your vehicle online in PDF form if you want. I downloaded and saved mine for future reference and resale purposes. Can't post it now, as it is at home, and I am in Toronto.

Thanks, Jim. I'll fire-up the Oracle and see if I can track it down. Appreciate it.

If I find that my current payload is on the "lighter" side, I intend to install these: Roadmaster Active Suspension Kit RAS Vehicle Suspension RAS3611-S
