fifth wheel towing with Frontier

I have a 2014 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab SV short bed pick-up, and am thinking of the New Escape 5.0 TA. I am hoping that someone can direct me to a shop that can install a fifth wheel hitch. I live in the Hampton, Virginia.

Hi: RogerM... There's a member who is on the forum sometime from Blacksburg Va. HokieEscape is now towing a 5.0 Classic with a short box Frontier. His long bed got totaled while parked on the street. He's using a standard 5th wh. hitch and a 10" pin extender with great success I'm told. Alf

We are towing a classic 5.0 (not the new TA version) with a short bed crew cab 2011 Frontier and it works with the hitch positioned a little behind the rear axle, but we would have to think hard before trying the wider, heavier 5.0TA. The payload weight, with the heavier tongue weight, could be an issue for the Frontier as would the width. Would definitely contact ETI.
