and with an average of 3000 rivets, one or two or three can stress on the road and create the possible leak which eventually destroys the Achilles Heel in an Airstream, the floor. It is a common practice to remove the body after 15-20 years and place the floor on them according to their forums. This does not happen in Escapes

Where they exist, yes. It's just that Escapes don't use rivets except for mounting things like grab handles, water inlet, belly band holder, etc. That's a far cry from hundreds of rivets all over the shell. The fewer holes in the shell, the better.
