I don't consider a recall an indication of poor quality (after all, every manufacturer finds defects) but how the recall is initiated tells me alot about the company. In Ford's case, I've been a "fan" ever since they didn't take the government bailout money, while Chrysler and GM did. Maybe it's a Texas prejudice.
