Hitch ball height

Can anyone tell me the height I should have the ball to tow a 2017 19 (none high lift)? We are presently towing a high lift 15A with a 2 inch drop. The truck has auto leveling rear shocks, so does not drop significantly when hitched.

Sorry if this info is already posted somewhere already

Thanks

Dave

I think it is 19" or 21", I have an adjustable set up so I can make it level when loaded. I'd suggest the same- here is an example https://www.etrailer.com/Ball-Mounts...w/MT70380.html

I phoned ETI and they gave me the standard height of the ball that worked best for my 17B, 19 inches.

Just give them a call.

The adjustable height receivers work great when you need to haul different trailers that have different tongue heights. However, I find that if I am always towing the same trailer, it is a simpler and lighter weight solution to just buy a receiver with an appropriate drop for my tow vehicle - trailer combination.

We set ours at 20" for our 2013 19' and that should be a good place to start for you.

Thanks all. My current Hitch ball is at 21". It seems that it will work for the pickup run. I will adjust later if required.
