As a Canadian I am embarrassed that a camper from a neighbouring province (SK) would do something like that. I wonder how the heck he got the front wheel up on the logs?

These motorhomes have built in hydraulic levelers, look under the front and you can see one on a log to raise it up.

you should see the 'log cabin' crib of railroad ties my kid has to use when he needs to jack his 5-ton 6x6 (26000 lb curb weight) for wheel or brake maintenance.

While the illustrated setup is clearly ridiculous, it is not uncommon in campsites to need to raise the front so much that the front tires come right off of the ground. The change in ground level over 6 metres (20 feet) of wheelbase can be substantial in even a reasonable-looking site. There's nothing but air under one of my front tires at this moment.

Yes, it is using the usual levelling jacks. Keep in mind that these jacks are for raising the RV to the level position, not just stabilizing it after raising it by other means (as with typical travel trailer stabilizing jacks); "small" jacks typically have 7,000 pound capacity... each.
To put the front wheels on blocks, the jacks are extended, the blocks are placed under the tires, and the jacks retracted to lower the tires onto the blocks. To get the jacks onto taller blocks than would fit at the start, and to get the front tires on taller blocks, it would be a matter of cycling between sitting on the tires (while retracting the jacks and putting in taller blocks) and sitting on the jacks (while extending them to put taller blocks under the tires).
There's nothing fundamentally wrong with tall blocks, but of course they would need to have a broader base than those logs! This lift-off-the-ground routine is only for the front wheels, since the rear tires (the ones on the axle which carries more load and has a parking brake and usually a transmission Park function) need to stay in good ground contact to keep the RV from moving. It's like lifting the tongue of a trailer very high, with the wheels staying on the ground (or one on a levelling block) and chocked.

In engineering training we learn that stability is based on 3 things: Size of the base, height of the structure and weight. A sky scraper is very tall compared to it's base size but it is very heavy so it it stable.
I guess this guy thinks his motor home is so heavy that it doesn't need much of a base. I think he is wrong.
