Hyundai Santa Fe as tow vehicle

Camping with my buddy Keath and his wife Pam.

They are only able to tow the Escape because Jim Pattison Hyundai finally broke down and put a hitch and harness on another vehicle that they had available.

Keath's Santa Fe has been in the shop since the middle of June for repairs to the engine under warranty. However, Hyundai is unable to get parts from their supplier and now, mid September, Keath is hoping that he will get his vehicle back for their October trip south.

In his investigations, Keath has determined that, although Toyota and Nissan go to great lengths to deal with customer issues, Hyundai's position is ( you can fill in the explicative ).

Good information as the ads for those vehicles paint such a pretty picture. If you have service problems that sure makes the vehicle less desirable. I am thinking of a tow vehicle and considered the Santa Fe but had heard of problems with their service. I currently have a Toyota car and the service has been exceptional and there are lots of dealers everywhere. I am thinking the Tacoma would be a nice tow vehicle.
Thanks for the info on the Santa Fe.
