I have the same lock for my 5.0 and yes it works with the lube plate. Note that the lock installs with the key cylander facing down not up as pictured.

It works with the lube plate. Currently on Ten Forward... with lube plate.

I didn't just read the recommendations on Amazon, but went to the manufacturers site. Liked what I read. One point (either good or bad for you), is the key hole is on the bottom. THAT works for me as we have a lot of rain that comes down sideways. I figured it would help protect the locking mechanism with the key hole on the bottom. So far so good.
