Very true about backing up with farm implements, I certainly did lots of that before I drove a car too. I had to retrain myself as an adult to use the mirrors, but once I had that down, it is not even a consideration to turn my head any more. On the odd occasion I have to do that now, because of having to turn really sharp around a corner, it seems way more awkward.
