Prodigy Barke Controller Mounting RAV4

Hi,
For those of you w/ a Prodigy proportional brake controller and a RAV4, where do you have it mounted- wondering in light of "pointing in the correct direction" , as there are angles in the RAV, we've changed it twice, would like to make sure this time.

I didn't do this install. It was done at the Toyota dealer by a contractor they use.

BTW, that cord you see has nothing to do with the Prodigy. I goes to my TomTom GPS.

I, too, used that very useful page as a guide; I did make a few changes though. The main one being the firewall penetration. I found a grommet by the driver's feet which comes up by the battery, saving about 8' of wire. I also did not want to permanently mount the controller so I Velcro it into the cubby-hole as the webpage shows. I put Velcro on the top of the opening and on the bracket he used (but flipped up). I then wedge it in the hole and it stays tight. I have wondered if the slight amount of wiggling has some affect on the controller though.
