RAV4 & 17B WDH Setup

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, although I've been reading lots of good stuff on here for awhile.
We just got our 17B a week or so ago and are now trying to get the RAV and the trailer set up. We have the exact same WD hitch used by Rease. Reese trunnions pro 600#.
What I was wondering for those with the same configuration - what is your set up- where is the main body on the hitch insert and how many chain links are loose? From what I've read 4 seems to be the number. We had it set up at a hitch place, but it feels light on the fron end and you can "pullback" - not sure if that is the right description. They had left one link loose. Any advise would be appreciated.

There are so many variables as far as the install that if I were you, I'd just go back to the installer and discuss your issues.
For what it's worth, which isn't much, I have two links hanging.

And just to add weight (sorry for the pun) to the fact that there are many variables, I have 4 links hanging. Reace set it up at the factory - I have the front storage box & 15" tires with a 2010 RAV4 Sport. When setting up, Reace adjusted the # of chain links hanging with the "tilt" of the ball so that the height of the hitch was the same with & without the trailer connected.

If there is a hitch shop or RV dealership in yr area, it might be best to ask them. Just get things hooked up as best you can and drive over for their advise.
