Might have to wait 'till New years is over, but a phone call to the hatching place (Escape Trailers) would probably get what you want.

Hi: flo...and welcome!!! The screen door on our '07 5.0 is a bi-fold style. The new ones Escape are using are a "Mirage" style that roll into a tube, like a roller blind on its side. I'm sure that Reace& Tammy could supply you with either style. They both require a wooden frame on the inside of the fiberglass door frame. Alf p.s. here's a bit of the lower screen door frame and what I did with the awning rod.

That's a great idea Alf, where did you find the little loops? Or what are they originally for?
Happy New Decade everyone!

Hi: HokieEscape...Dan Thanks!!! They are 1/2" Nylon Cable Clamps. The one closest to the floor I left open just to keep the rod there & screwed the clamp into the screen frame. The top clamp is closed and you have to pass the rod thru it to hold the rod!!! That way the rod is right there where you need it for setup!!! Alf p.s. In case your wondering where I went...I'm taking the rest of the year OFF!!!

Re: screen door for 17b 06 .

Hi: All... I believe the screen door was optional on some models and standard on others. Over the years and thru price shuffles it has been added as standard equipment to most. There is a 17'er in town here that is trailer #35 I think and it doesn't have a screen door either. Alf p.s. early "Glass" trailers didn't have them either and everyone that saw ours at Bolerama was in awe!!!
