Tacoma & Mirrors ?

.
Good Morning - For those that use a Tacoma TV - what mirrors do you use? Which ones do not work?

I have followed behind a Tacoma towing a TT from MN/TX and it looks like the mirrors fall a little short.

Thank You for your help & thoughts.

I've tried all the cheap ones. These are great!

I used a pair of these Pro EFX towing mirrors on my Tacoma and really liked them. We longer have the Tacoma and would be willing to sell them at a good price if you decide to go with the Pro EFX.

I added the proefx mirrors with hear and turn signals to mine a week ago they work very well. There is also a group buy going on for them https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/...eos-gb.390871/ verify year for prewired for turn signal mine is a 2011 so I had to wire them in myself. 2012 and up the wiring is there I believe. They take 30 min to install. They vibrate a little at full extension but other then that I recommend them too.

I don't need extended mirrors on my 2015 Tacoma when towing my 17b.

Those mirrors are very nice looking, I wonder how they would look on a 4Runner?

I wish they fit a 4th gen 4Runner. I recall running across a thread somewhere where someone explored fitting them on the 4th generation 4Runner and it was not even close. Ah here it is.. I guess it's comparing Tacoma mirrors to a 4Runner's https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/...s.22244/page-4

I'm not sure what generation you have, if the discussion is relevant or not.

If I had lots of free time, I'd probably undertake a custom setup with some nice mirrors.. but I don't, so I won't

I bought the Grand Aero mirrors for our Tacoma when we got our trailer. Have used them for several years now and they are great. Like most things, you get what you pay for - these are well worth the $.

As a side note, some states require tow mirrors when hauling any kind of trailer. Initially my husband thought it was unnecessary but then he's used to driving a fire truck! When I was in the driver's seat, I couldn't see a damn thing behind me and that was not in my comfort zone. Once I got the mirrors and he used them, he couldn't believe the difference. I can't imagine anyone driving safely without tow mirrors.

Good to know. The 19 Foot that OWilly is getting next month is 4 inches wider than a 17 Foot, so towing the 19 with the stock mirrors would be like towing a 17 with the same mirrors pulled in 2 inches on each side. Would that be workable?
