Hey TinKnocker

Looks good, with tailgate open could be the inside of our F150, we have the Patriot too, but not the toolbox. How do you reach the toolbox, are you tall? I see you have rollup cover, we got the trifold but blocks view of fifth wheel plate which I could see with old truck without cover, so had to use the tape trick to line up.

Another month or so until your trip to Escape, right. You must be getting excited. Even if bad weather there it won't be anything like we just had here, our grandkids were off school three days, the snow blew around like crazy, our border crossing closed for nearly two days, now the cold has arrived with temps around -18C (0F). Can hardly wait to get out of here in Feb. to head to the west coast.

David H; Thanks David, It truly is a labor of love when it comes to camping!

Emers382; Thanks Adrian, LOL no I am not tall 5' 3-1/2" hehe but I manage with a small step ladder. Yikes that's cold! -18, all we can do is wait and see? We originally where going to pick up in March or April but with our new president elect I would feel a little more comfortable with our trailer in our back yard.

Mary; "Never know what might come next..... You better keep an eye on her TinKnocker!" Thanks Mary our eyes are wide open but our trailer is a calling so we must go

Really like those Patriot hitches. I hear good things from their owners.

I know this was meant as a joke, but in actuality mules have an undeserved reputation for stubborness. They're very smart and will not do something that they deem stupid or dangerous - they have lots of common sense.

Hi Adrian, can you elaborate on the "tape trick"? Thanks!

I can believe that. The good side of "stubbornness" is that they keep going - presumably with more endurance than horses. I don't know if they're fast, though: my grandfather ran a stagecoach in Alberta (over a century ago) and started with a team of mules, but changed to horses... I had assumed for speed, but that's only a guess.

lol well now I know more about mules than ever before, the reason I call my truck "The Mule" is because it has a 3.73 rear end combined with a V8 5.0 coyote engine I just love the way it tows

Just a bit of white tape on top of pin box and a piece on the centre of folded back tonneau cover which I then line up but with the few times I did it this summer I still had trouble. Liked it much more when I could see the pin going into the fifth wheel plate.

Would show you a photo but not going outside for a while today then wouldn't want to take the gloves off to use the phone. It's -26C right now
