My brothers worked in petrochem, gas oil & avgas, one was a senior plant operator making Chevron gas, swears by the detergent capabilities of Techron. I notice my rigs always run a little better with Chevron gas...however the pricing at Costco or Fred Meyer (Kroeger) is so much lower...so I don't use Chevron much.

I've used Techron for years. Just buy the bottles at a auto parts store.
Used it religiously on a ducati and at a 97K engine teardown there was zero carbon on the intake valves. They had a slight golden color but no hard carbon at all!

When we leave on a long trip or twice a year , I add 3 bottles of techron to my trucks fuel tank ( 34 gal US )
We only have one gas station in town , so what they have is what I buy .

Just finished reading the Wikipedia entry on this topic and Wiki has the following update for us Canadians (bummer):

As of July 20, 2020 (note: there have been many changes in this list since the COVID-19 pandemic began, particularly in Canada, where a majority of former Top Tier brands are no longer)
