That was an interesting demo, my take from the video is one needs to evaluate when any of the following occur:

a loaded bike rack hanging off the back
lots of weight on the tongue (full propane and lots in the storage box)
a rear cargo rack
heavy items stored inside the trailer but fore or aft

Having just one from the above list is not bad, though you may be facing high/low tongue weight, another issue. But having two from the list above is cause for concern.

Putting weight over the axles is most important. If you look at your Escape chances are you will see that already as part of the design. Where is the refrigerator, stove, fresh water, gray water and black water located? Chances are, these heavy items are close to the axle(s).

Watch the demo, it is good.
