Towing escape 5.0 with Toyota tundra
Hi , I have a toyota tundra crewmax 5.7 and wonder if i can pull an Escape 5.0

I gonna to ordert one if I can´t find a used one. How much more gasoline you use when you pull it ?

With the Tundra towing a 5.0 you need to be careful with payload capacity. My 2015 Tundra Crewmax SR5 4wd w/5.7 has a payload capacity of only 1,360 lbs (sticker in drivers door jamb). Higher end trims will have more options thus a lower capacity. That number accounts for all truck occupants, stuff and the kingpin weight of the trailer. The kingpin weight will likely account for more that half of that capacity so be mindful of how many people and how much stuff you'll carry in the truck (cab & bed).
Otherwise, with 401 lb. ft. of torque you'll likely not notice much the trailer is back there. But peak torque is at 3,600 rpm so if you're going up a steep grade don't be afraid to wind up the motor. It's not a diesel nor a pushrod gas motor so rpm's are not the enemy.

Those numbers are almost identical to my Ram Hemi, it will pull anything but can carry nothing.

Hmm, if i had a Tundra i would seriously consider the 5.0. I tow a 5.0 single axle with a ISUZU D-Max with a 4 cylinder engine and have no problems at all. There is a big difference between max load (in the bed) and pulling numbers.
EG, my ISUZU may only load 800 KG but may pull 3500 KG, in total i can move a trailer of 4300 KG (more or less 9000 pounds) with a pickup that is way smaller then a Tundra.
Just my 2 cents.

Tundra and Escape 5er
Claude, we're pulling an Escape 21 with a 2012 Tundra Crewmax, and the truck handles its 4300 pounds with ease. Your experience towing a 5er will be similar.

Same truck Same issues "Payload & GVWR" . Assuming 800 to 900 lbs of pin weight ,weight of the 5th wheel hitch ,2 adult passengers and my trucks options , I am at or slightly over the payload capacity and GCVR of my truck. (payload capacity = 1430lbs) I have no weight capacity left for any cargo. We are going to Quincy California to view a 5.0 TA in September.
If my wife decides we're purchasing a new 5.0, I will be buying a new truck capable of safely towing the trailer within its listed limits including additional cargo.
If we can afford a well equipped 5.0 and we can't afford an adequate tow vehicle for the 5.0
then our plans must change. In my way of thinking ,what I want to do and what I should do are often two different things.

I'm aware of at least one 5.0 TA pulled by a Ram 1500 diesel which has 1350# payload perhaps the pin weight is less than 900, maybe 6-700#?

The actual pin weight of mine varies from high 500's to low 700's, at least the 2 times I had it weighed. Add to that the hitch and it's mounting, about 100 for a standard hitch, 150 for a slider.

I had a Reese Pro Series with the slider, it weighs 150 lbs, add 600 for the pin and you've more than used 50% of your capacity. I switched to the Anderson Ultimate 3200 goose neck hitch, a reduction of 110 lbs and a increase in capacity of 25% in round numbers. And, it tows so much better, no bouncing and banging as was the case with the Reese. I highly recommend the Anderson if you're looking to save on GVWR.

Towing w/an extra fuel tank
Okay, along the lines of towing the 5.0TA with the Tundra (which is what we're thinking of getting) - has anyone added an extra fuel tank to theirs? And how would that affect the towing ability? Can one be put in front of the 5th wheel hitch assembly? Or would it be better to put one under the truck?

Not feasible. Gasoline at 8 lbs/gal would lower payload. Would need a fuel pump of the correct pressure , filter and a switching valve. Gas tanks are now regulated by the emission systems. A fuel transfer pump in an auxilllary fuel container would probably be your only option.
