Right here. It looks messy, but it has done the job for over two years.

Thanks Ray. No worries, blobs move slowly.

Thanks! This was just the information I needed.

I'm very happy with the Aero 2 mirrors and with Costco. The mirrors arrived the day after I ordered them and we used them on our weekend trip. There was a little vibration and perhaps I need to tighten them a bit more, but I could see everything I needed to. I'd recommend these mirrors.

? About towing a 17b with a Nissan Frontier. Are people feeling the need to add mirrors when towing 17bs or is it just for folk with the bigger trailers?

Our Frontier just has "regular" mirrors not those extended mirrors I've seen on the "big boy" trucks.

Hi: LarryandLiz...The reason I added the 1aauto 1A Auto : Aftermarket Auto Parts, Car Body Parts, Replacement & New Automobile and Truck Parts | Buy Discount Car & Auto Parts Online Nissan Frontier trailer tow mirrors is in anticipation of the new wider 5.0TA.
I still like the original 5.0 as it was the same width as our previous GMC Sierra and not much wider than the new Frontier but I knew I'd need extension mirrors for the 5.0TA. Alf

I definitely feel better having an extended mirror on the driver side of my Tacoma, but seem to manage OK with just the wide vision passenger mirror. Might depend on your state or provincial laws, though, as to how much behind the trailer you're required to be able to see.

I liked having the towing mirrors as I could see so much more around and behind me. I felt it was safer.

If you are towing with a Tacoma, the ProEFX mirrors are great. They are plug and play and install in about 20 minutes. Plus, with a little extra work and the required switches you can have heated mirrors.

I'll be retiring the Tacoma as my tug when I get the 19 that's on order for November. Just picked up a 2007 Tundra with only 22K miles, and it's loaded for towing, including heated mirrors, a luxury I've never needed (until now!). I believe I'll just get the slip-over extenders for those mirrors.

Tundra's are nice. I would love to find a low mileage 2006 (last year before they bumped the size up) Tundra with V8. Where I live a large truck is problematic.

You might want to try the tow before you get the mirror extenders. They extenders help pulling a 19 with a Frontier, but I expect the Tundra is wider to start with. You might find you're happy without the extenders.

Good point. California requires 200 feet of roadway to be visible, but I do like to see as much as possible behind the trailer, and don't know how much that extra two feet is going to cover up.

I pull a 19 with a 2005 Tundra. I pulled my Casita OK with the factory mirrors, but needed something wider (Grand Aero Clamp on for me) with the Escape 19. Factory-like tow mirrors are available for 2007-2013 Tundras.

FYI for anyone shopping for mirrors - the Grand Aero are pretty cheap on Amazon currently
Grand Aero mirrors on Amazon.

Per camelcamelcamel it's the lowest they've been in 1.5 years.

I just ordered a set and they fit fine on my 2007 Toyota 4Runner. Haven't tried them out yet.
