Sure... if you stock the wire. If you are just buying a small spool at retail for the only job that will ever need it, so you don't buy a $320 spool that will never be used up, $25 isn't unreasonable compared to any part sold by an automotive dealer:
10 Gauge 25 ft Primary Wire
(Princess Auto is a local low-priced retailer and this is their lowest-priced house brand)
