Right, because towing capacity has almost nothing to do with the engine's peak power output. If that were the important factor, a Corvette would tow more than a Chevy 1-ton truck.

Perhaps that's the limiting factor, for stability... but more likely transmission, or transmission cooling, or engine cooling, or gearing, or rear suspension...

I know what you mean, but "dually" (or "dualie") means dual wheels (2 on the same end of the same axle); a trailer with two axles like the new 5.0 (or a truck with two drive axles in the rear) is a "tandem".
