Yes, no power issues at all. Going up steep grades (7-8% typical, 10-12% in rare cases) it can still accelerate up to 110km/hr, though the rpm pushes up to 4000-5000 in the extreme cases.
It's nice to be able to pass slow rvs on hills... We could never do that pulling our tent trailer with our 4 cylinder RAV...
Nice to know, I too have a Frontier (2011) and may wind up purchasing the 19. I am excited about the new 5.0, but think the 19 is more practical for our needs.
