Trailer Brakes

Quick question, do both trailer axles have electric brakes or just one? I am looking at getting a 21. Thanks!

most electric brake controllers can handle 4-6 brakes, some even more.

all brakes on a trailer are wired in parallel to the same single heavy gauge brake wire on the 7-blade.

Randy, although some tandem trailers have had brakes on only one axle, and that might have even been legal in some places, it wouldn't be acceptable in a modern travel trailer. All Escapes have always had brakes on all axles.

Thank you. I was pretty sure they have brakes on both axles, but did not see it in print. I have a P-3 brake gizmo on my truck so I will be covered.
