I have those on the truck side. Makes hooking up the chains much easier.

If you wanted the most security bang for your buck, I still think a trailer wheel boot or a high end chain through the wheels and frame is the way to go.

I don't bother with either, but if I were concerned about it, a boot would be installed.

I suggest the forum link below for locks and chains. I purchased the chain and lock to wrap around my axle and lock the wheel. Very sound equipment.

You could also remove the jack once set up on the stabilizers, pretty hard lifting 500 lbs.
