An interesting site, which could be of great use while travelling. Could meet some interesting locals this way.

The name is a bit of a misnomer though. The term boondocking is derived from camping in the boondocks, away from the masses and organized campsites, and of course with no services. These are mostly all sites right by municipalities, and many of these hosts offer electrical and water hookups. Not knocking the service at all, it is a great idea. Just poorly named, IMHO.

I am a recent member that hasn't used the services yet but I think one of the requirements is you must be self contained.

It does say that somewhere Bob, but if you look at the individual listings, some say water and power available. For one or two nights, I would not even bother hooking up.

I'm also looking at the boondockers site which allows you to stay at fellow RV'ers property. Are you familiar, what do you think?
