Angel of the Winds Casino,Auburn,Wa

I have heard that the Angel of the Winds Casino is a good place to camp for the night. It is a couple of miles off I-5 near Arlington (about 2 hours from Chilliwack) and there are 18-20 spots for RVs. $15/night for electric; water and dump are nearby. With your payment for the spot (at the coat check desk inside the casino), you get a Casino coupon book, including discounts for dinner at the restaurants and some gambling discounts. Another good deal is the $3 breakfast at one of the restaurants from 8AM to 11AM. Not bad for a one night stop. Call ahead for a reservation: (877) 394-8210, ext. 394.

We've never stayed at that casino but have stayed at Tulalip casino a few times on route to somewhere else. Tulalip is dry camping but there is a secure lot set aside for campers. There is no fee and it's within an easy bike ride or walk to the outlet malls... Seafood buffet on Tuesday night is excellent!

We are actually thinking of making it a weekend destination spot one weekend to do our winter clothes shopping :-)

I should also mention that Tulalip is a few miles farther south but still on the north side of Seattle.

We have never stayed there because there is a charge. The Northwoods casino near Lynden doesn't charge if you don't use the hook-ups. The Silver Reef casino has free overnight parking. Their lot right now is a bit chewed up as they are building a new theater, but still lots of room. Also if you are there on Mondays, it's seniors day and they have an amazing buffet for about $4.50. Our favorite casino to park at is the Tulalip . Always lots of rvs there. It's free. If you are there on a wednesday night, there is a free comedy show inside the casino ....$2 pints and half price appys. It's also next door to a fantastic outlet mall on the one said and a huge sports store and a Walmart on the other side. Their sister casino, the Quil Ceda (5 min drive away) has a great breakfast for $2.50.
