I think you're exactly right Donna. And yes, I'm heading to Texas in April 2024 also. A few others on the Eclipse thread were also interested. We might have a caravan going......

For the 2024 eclipse, the path is almost at right angles to this year's eclipse path, providing a very different set of destination options:

It might be a good time for me to visit family in Fredericton... also in path of totality. It's too bad that April is a little early in the season for an RV trip to New Brunswick.
