First Big Trip --- Lake Superior

We finally had the Escape more or less in the order we wanted and we took off on our first big trip just as temperatures began hitting the 90s. It stormed going there and back but we had perfect weather most of the time.

We arrived at Red Cliff, Wisconsin at the tribal campground on Lake Superior to find that our spot was right on the lake. We declined as it was very very small and, well, we can't back in worth a darn. Figured we would literally end up in Lake Superior. So we took a much bigger place a little further back. All of them have great views.

There were few trailers during the week and the campground was not even full on the weekend. The bathrooms and showers are in the new hotel building right nearby, very nice, it and the casino having been built recently to replace their old buildings. Would highly recommend this campground.
