Harding Point CG, St. John, NB

What a delightful spot, accessible by ferry, approximately 20 miles north of historic St. John, New Brunswick. Located on the St. John River, it has 2 ferries that operate
24/7, free passage. It was my first time pulling onto ferry and I was a little hesitant. But it has a cable to prevent off course issues in the strong river currents. The CG has pool, a store, full hook ups and is a Good Sam member, less than $40 cn per night. Across the landing there is a nice diner that serves 7-7 breakfast, lunch, dinner, all local sea food plus poutine. It is within walking distance from the ferry.

Looks nice. Nicer than the municipal one in town. Did you see the reversing falls? Bit of a shock to go there and find a fire breathing dragon of a pulp mill right there on the shore.

Poutine, are you kidding. Actually I finally broke down and tried it. Pretty yummy but probably not in a healthy way.

Yes, we watched the reversing falls. In fact, you were the reason we went to Canada, when crossing the border I was asked "why are you visiting?" and I responded, "Digby Scallops and poutine" Well worth the trip....
