Drove in, drove around, drove on. Didn't like the distance from the sites to the lake itself ( horse camp lake was full already and I didn't have a horse ).

Neither my buddy Keath and I are huge fans of lake fishing. We like to fish rivers. At a lake, we are more into reading, eating, drinking.
We spent several days at Chataway Lake a few weeks ago. Easy catching, small fish.
We ended up spending the evenings discussing if there was any point in torturing fish since we don't keep them.
Here's my buddy fishing at a lake near Lundbom.

I'm not a fisherman, but I like the saying (attributed to Mark Twain??):

"God does not deduct from man's allotted span on earth, the time spent fishing"

"Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll drink all your beer".

my friends just bought a northern lite camper to go on their truck. It fiberglass and very nice but very expensive. I think they are made in Canada too. They fish and haul a boat so that works best for them. Later this month we are going horse camping so i will haul the horses (fifth wheel trailer) with my truck and they can haul my 17 with their camper (big 350 truck). I'm think that's the best way to get two horses a camper and a travel trailer to the beach!
