That is the kind of weather where one has to plug in both their tow and trailer to keep from freezing.

I have not camped in those conditions, but before the trailer I tented in Manning park and woke up to thick frost covering it... in August. Elevation means cold nights!

I haven't plugged in a car for years (no need if it isn't really cold... and that means -40), but it does make the interior more pleasant and the defroster more effective.

I have been in remote sites in Algonquin Park in Jan. with snowshoes and tenting...
loved it... quiet and no bugs! Older now, hence another reason for the Escape.
Algonquin has some camp areas open all winter... looking forward to it.
