Thanks for the info but I got sidetracked by Othello Tunnels! I had never heard of them and the trail looks like fun. Do you know if we could bike on this portion while riding the Kettle trail? Looks like a another beautiful BC area.

Coquihalla Canyon Provincial Park - BC Parks

It looks like cycling is allowed.

"Bicycles must keep to roadways. Bicycle helmets are mandatory in British Columbia. Cyclists please dismount and walk through tunnels "

I'm surprised that cycling is allowed. I think there would be lots of tourists walking to hit.

The web site says the tunnels are closed right now for repairs. I haven't spent any time in the park other than walking through the tunnels a few times. I found the Tunnels to be quite interesting - good for a an hour or two.

By the way, I see you live in Oregon. We are scheduled for 4 days in July at NNehalem Bay State Park. We want to find a decent campsite south of Seatle for one night before we hit Nehalem. Any suggestions? Something kind of enroute to Nehalem would be good. We have thought of parking at a casino for the night (although we haven't been in a casino in about 37 years.

We went down to Nehalem and just overnighted here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Olymp...=photos_stream
on the way down. It was fine.
Nearby ( driving ) is a Cabella's if you need to find a cammo fridge or faucet. Couple decent restaurant / pubs.

Makes for a couple easy-driving days.
