Good Luck Jim and Lisa! I know you will have a great time no matter where you go. I, for one, will be looking forward to your travel log.

Bon Voyage,

Tom

I agree Doug! Jim's a good writer and blog from him, I'm sure would be great and would be a blessing for those of us marooned at work.

Safe travels Jim & Lisa! Be aware. Mt. Hood is getting a dusting of snow right now. Levels may be down to the 4,500 ft level over night and into the weekend.

See y'all in a few days

We have lots of warm blankets, plus a wee electric heater if needed.

Thanks Tom, I plan on hitting up Costco on this trip to see if I can find some of those yummy salt & pepper pistachios.

We are at Kikomun Creek Provincial Park tonight. Great campground, last day open for the year, and not a single other camper.

If you would like more airplanes, make a special trip to the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum at McMinnville, OR, about 80 km south west of Portland, similar distance from Tillamook for a crow but further by road. They have the Spruce Goose, which is still in the size ballpark of todays largest aircraft. An SR-71 spy plane and lots of other exotica, even some common aircraft like a DC-3, I think a Ford Tri-Motor, ...

Only problem for us is that it takes most of a day to see nearly everything, mostly inside, which doesn't seem quite right when camping, unless it's raining which is SOP in western OR. It is also worth checking that they're still open, as the owners were having severe legal problems a year or two ago.

That's it.
Robert shared a photo of it from Osoyoos. I am still a FG guy at heart, and would be in real life if Reace would ever get that new 5.0 done (dig dig).
