Technomadia introduces new APP

I don't own an iPhone or iPad, but thought those that do and like to camp on public land would find this of value:

Introducing: US Public Lands for iPhone & iPad

Looks good. And the price is reasonable. Thanks Donna.

They are obviously Apple fans, but should really consider an Android app too. Maybe it is in the works.

Yes, they are Apple fans. In fact they do a lot of beta testing for Apple products. I know they're always talking about Android, but I guess there are "issues."

Did you see State Lines? I think if I was a traveler, it would be very helpful to know about the different state taxes, etc.

Cool, I can add it to my arsenal of apps when I go travelling.

They are trying to crowdfund a second edition of their book on Mobile Internet right now.

I found the first edition very valuable. I hate to buy multiple editions of books but the way the technology keeps changing I'm planning on making an exception to that rule and getting the second edition.

Here is the link to their post explaining the project: Help us make ‘The Mobile Internet Handbook’ 2nd Edition Awesome! | Technomadia. (I don't have an interest in their business, just a happy customer.)

I also have and like their State Lines app. Don't care about the taxes, they are what they are but it's nice to know about traffic laws (maximum towing speed, right/left turns on red etc.) before I get somewhere. All it has to do is save me from one ticket and it will pay for itself many times over.

That being said, it looks interesting

Yeah, it definitely is US only. They said they hope to include Canada in the future.
