Yoho National Park

Has anyone camped there?

Yes we have and it's gorgeous. We sometimes stay there, along with Kootenay Nat'l. Park on our way to the Escape Rally in Osoyoos in June. Both parks are just opening around that time so there are few people but some of the higher elevation hiking trails are still snow covered. Plenty to do down low, however.

We were there this past September; stayed at Kicking Horse Campsite, $21 per night and right on the river. Lots to see in the immediate area.

Yes, lots. But never in an RV, only hiking or skiing into the back country. Some gorgeous country there, with lots of great hiking.

Good to know they are open then Doug. I have been stopping by Revelstoke the last couple years for a couple quiet nights after the rally. Might give Yoho a try this year.

Here are a couple backcountry shots in Yoho. On this trip we drove up the Blaeberry River, and hiked in over the Amiskwi Pass.
