5.0 TA Suspension

Don't know if anyone noticed but the E-Z flex ETI uses on the TA's has Zerk fittings on it. Guess at some point we have to give em a shot of grease. Couldn't find anything on Dexter's website pertaining to maintenance on them.

Another thing, you can replace the hanger bolts with their wet bolts if you start to go through the plastic bushings. The wet bolts come with brass bushings. I had to replace them once on my Starcraft, started eating tires when they were very shot.

During orientation, I was told to give the zerk a shot of grease once a year (or every 10,000 miles) whichever comes first.

Thanks Donna, that's what you miss when you get your trailer delivered.

Instruction Sheet 059-867-00B (installation instructions for complete suspension kit)
- says grease once every 3,000 miles
Instruction Sheet 059-863-00C (installation instructions for equalizers and bolt kit)
Maintenance Schedule
- says "Suspension Wet Bolts & Equalizers" should be greased every 3 months or 3,000 miles

I note that this hardware is being used at about half of its capacity, so lubrication needs should not be extreme.
