The reason dielectric grease is used on electrical connections is that you don’t want conductivity on a mult-connection plug like the RV plug. Actually on regular batteries with standard posts I use the felt washers soaked in 90 weight gear oil. After installing the felt washers I will have no corrosion for ten years or more. You just need a barrier to keep the acid off the lead.

Bless your heart, yes there are lots of YouTube videos etc but some just spray a dilute mix of baking soda/water on corrosion then wash off w hose & dont dc the connections. Others use a paste after 1st disconnecting terminals (neg 1st then + reversing this when rehooking up) then Washing w hose. Wondered if someone could post a stepwise guide on doing this correctly. Thank you
