Re: Black Water Tank

IMHO the gray water is more problematical if showers are taken. Enjoy! BTW, what are you doing exactly to keep the toilet area dry?

We are waiting with bated breath to learn how you fared with the holding tank situation. How was the venture?

Re: Black Water Tank

Well don't hold your breath!! We still haven't dry camped as of yet.. We headed down to Big Sur, but Phieffer State Park was still closed (due to the earlier Fires..) and Alfred Molera park doesn't allow TT.. so we ended up in Big Sur Campground .. a private Campground and the difference between a campsite w/o electrical vs. with was pretty negligible so we wimped out and went for the water & electric.. Yes we did.. we are wimps..

So no baseline as of yet.. won't be going out again until after turkey day..

Re: Black Water Tank

Thanks for the info. I lucked out and got a full hook-up for the July FGRV gathering. The shower /gray situation might prove unwieldy. What is your dry-toilet trick? Peace and Sunshine
